Dayana Rivas Valle
Naturalist Guide
Bio
Hello, I’m Dayana Rivas. I grew up in San Ramón de Alajuela, known as the land of poets, a place where coffee is cultivated, and home to waterfalls and forests.
From a very young age, I was interested in nature, which is why I decided to study Agroecology at a Technical College. From that moment on, I was sure that my destiny was to be in the forests. For this reason, once I entered University, I pursued studies in Ecotourism, a field that excited me greatly and also allowed me to learn a lot about the biology housed in this wonderful country.
I also graduated in Tourism Business Administration.
I am passionate about working on environmental education and protection projects. My area of greatest affinity is natural history and mammals.
Manuel Antonio National Park is a biological island that hosts a large amount of biodiversity, with stunning scenic beauty of its beaches and fascinating viewpoints. It’s a place that should not be missed on tourists’ itineraries.
For me, it’s a privilege to work there.
