I have been guiding Manuel Antonio National Park for 28 years. What started as a means to generate my income became a lifelong passion. I have witnessed all the changes the park has undergone up to today. Every day, I still feel that there is something new to learn. My main interests are trees, medicinal plants, and birds.

To me, Manuel Antonio National Park is the heart of the country; it could perfectly be the national symbol because, both due to its influx of visitors and its rich biodiversity, it is a place where a unique experience filled with learning and enjoyment happens daily.
