Naturalist Tour Guide
Bio
I am from San José, the most important political, economic, and social center in Costa Rica, although I grew up in Quepos since my father is from here.
Since childhood, I had the influence of my grandfather in terms of caring for and respecting nature, and learning about and using medicinal plants. So much so that years later, in my adolescence, I conducted my first tour, and I have been guiding for over 32 years.
I don’t consider myself to have a specific specialty as I have extensive knowledge about reptiles, mammals, plants, birds, amphibians—in general, all biodiversity. I decided to guide in Manuel Antonio because I consider it my home, having grown up here. I have studies in acting, specifically as a comedian. I love managing groups of families and children so that my two passions, both guiding and acting, can come together.
Additionally, I studied Biodiversity with InBio and other courses from various universities, having Jimmy Mata, a renowned national biologist, as a reference.
